Tubby Craft

H ello, friends! Today, I've got two fresh and vibrant projects to share with you all using the latest Tubby release;   CARD 1 This card was really easy to put together. I started by creating the beach sunset scene using Chinese blue, Sapphire blue and Turquoise dye inks for the sea; Chocolate brown and mustard yellow for the sand; and Lemon yellow and Tangy orange for the sky. Our awesome blending brushes provide a smooth blend and are so ergonomically designed. I used Tangy orange to ink a die-cut circle for the sun as well. I then stamped the mice with binoculars using Jet black ink, copic colored it and fussy cut it out. For the sentiment, I simply white heat embossed onto black cardstock. Lastly, I assembled the entire card on a red cardbase and also added a few flying birds using black pen along the sun to set the scene. And there we have our cute mice-y card! Hello, friends! Today, I've got two fresh and vibrant projects to share with you all using the latest Tubby release; These two look quite similar but the techniques are really very different. Let me show you how I made them one by one. So let's begin! TECHNIQUE 1 GRADIENT STRIPES To start with, I used a white card front and then placed the new stencil diagonally. Then using Tubby inks and blending brush, I blended the colors in rainbow order across the stencil down upwards. This gives a really cool gradient of colors in every single stripe. For the sentiment, I white heat embossed the main stamp image of the new "Invitation" stamp set onto black cardstock, die cut it out and adhered it to the card front. Finally, I attached the panel on a black base, added a few gems and our vibrant invite is ready! TECHNIQUE 2 BOLD STRIPES This one is pretty straightforward to create! I simply blended the inks in rainbow order but this time along the stripes of the stencil, and looks...

  Jai Hind everyone! Wishing you all a very happy Republic Day... On this glorious 73rd republic day, I would love to show you two patriotic craft projects; The focus is on a stencil with different means of using it creatively. CARD 1 BLEND OVER BLEND For this technique, I simply used the Foliage stencil 1 and used Tangy Orange dye ink at the top and Emerald green at the bottom with our smooth Blending brush (such a lifesaver for intricate stencils like this one!). After that, I blended the same colors again over them for a diffused look and left the center white. Finally, I adhered the die-cut sentiment in blue to complete our national colors. CARD 2 RESIST BLENDING This card features the good-old resist technique and I've used clear heat embossing as the resist with the same stencil, over which I've blended the proud colors and then wiped the resists for the finish.
