Janmashtami special monochromatic cards I DT Anirudh

Hathi ghoda paalki, Jai kanhaiya laal ki! Hello everyone and a very happy Janmashtami. Janmashtami is one of my fav festivals, and so, I thought of making a card to celebrate the occasion, but I came up with two ideas coz these monochromatic cards are super quick to make! Here are today's projects; CARD 1 For this card, I started by stamping the main image from the Krishna stamp set onto white cardstock using Lavender Violet tubby dye ink and then fussy cut it out. Then I stamped the greeting onto a white strip with the same ink and then cut it as a banner. For the base, I chose a purple card base and then added a few diagonal layers and a silver mirror cardstock swirl die cut for some interest. Now, I simply foam taped the image and the sentiments and our card is done! Have a closer look at the card; CARD 2 This card is also very easy to make,  Start by taking a white A2 card panel and stamp the phrase onto it with Lavender Violet tubby dye ink to create a background. Janmashtami cards

Hello everyone This is DT Priyadarshini here today and we are celebrating Janmashtmi today and I decided to share a couple of cards I made for the occasion.  CARD 1 To start with, I stamped the image on watercolour paper using  Lead grey ink .  I coloured using  Chocolate brown ,  Emerald green ,  Tangy orange ,  Lilac purple  dye inks. I fuzzy cut the image and kept it aside. I took a top fold note card and added a black cardstock. I took another piece of white card and stenciled using peacock feathers stencil with  Aqua blue  dye ink.  Added the stenciled piece and a vellum sheet to the base and added the image and sentiment to finish the card.  CARD 2 For my next card, I used only the stencil and sentiment from the stamp set.  I used Lead grey dye ink to first stencil on white card stock. I separately stenciled one feather using Aqua blue ink and highlighted using colour pencils.  I fuzzy cut the feather and added foam adhesive to it and added the sentiment on top of it.  To give mo

Rakhi cards

Hello there, This is DT Priyadarshini here today.  I have used stamps, stencils and inks from Tubby card to make my cards for today. I have used   Surprise box ,   Sibing festival   and   Floral invitation   along with stencils   Watercolour lines ,   Foliage 1   and   Crack it .  CARD 1 This is my first card for this post For my card, I stamped the image from Surprise box, coloured and fuzzy cut it.  I did two stenciling here. The first for the background, using watercolour lines with Hot pink and Imperial red ink.  For the second, I used olive green ink and crack it stencil For the sentiment, I mixed from two stamp sets, the word surprise from surprise box and the rest from Sibling festival.  I finished the card by putting them together.  CARD 2 For my next card,I made it very festive by using floral spray stamp from Floral invitation and Sibling festival.  I stamped the images and coloured them up and kept two of the sprays not coloured.  I stenciled a blue note card using Chinese

Pop Up Slider Box Card

Hello Everyone, Today I am on the Tubby Craft Blog to share with you a Pop Up Slider Box which I made specially for the upcoming Rakhi Festival. This Box is of the size of 6" x 4". So for the Drawer I took 230 GSM cardstock of the dimensions of 7.5"x 5.5" and scored along 0.75" on all four sides. So this gives us a drawer of the size 6"x 4". Now, for the cover of the box I took a cardstock of the size of 6" x  9.75" and scored at 0.75",4.75",5.5"& 9.5". Now glue along the 6" side to make the slider cover. I also cut a rectangular widow in between the cover to make the pop up system.  I then stamped an image from  Best Buddies Stamp set  and colored it using Zig markers. I also choose the sentiment " Happy Rakhi" from the  Sibling Love Stamp Set  to stamp on my Box. This box makes a perfect gift for the Rakhi Festival to add Rakhi or chocolates in the box. I hope I am able to give you some creative ins
