Hello and a very happy Diwali everyone. With the increasing trend of clean and simple cards, I, Anirudh, DT member, bring to you all two easy and beautiful cards that feature the dry embossing technique. So let's start! THE TECHNIQUE Dry embossing with stencils gives a subtle look to any project. For this, use this sandwich and run it through your machine; from below upwards, clear plate - embossing plate - embossing pad - paper - stencil - clear plate. You may need to add additional shims for deeper emboss looks. CARD 1 I started with a white card panel and dry embossed using zig-zag stencil. Then I used the Diwali greetings stamp to do some no-line watercoloring of the diya image with zig markers and fussy cut it out. Then I simply attached that to a red shaped die-cut and that over the embossed panel. For the sentiment, I used Chinese Blue dye ink. Lastly, I added this to a white card base.
