RESIST EMBOSS TECHNIQUE - DIWALI CARDS

  Hello friends. This is Anu, designer at Tubby Craft. I hope you all are doing well & keeping safe. Firstly A very Happy Diwali to each one of you. This Diwali being a socially distanced one we all are trying to make & send our best wishes to our loved ones whom we might not going to meet personally this year. And to help you with that today i have 2 simple Diwali cards to share using a beautiful technique RESIST EMBOSS TECHNIQUE I used the same technique for both the cards, lets see how CARD 1 Follow steps to create: 1. Take a piece of white cardstock & mask the sides 1 inches from both left and right. 2. Apply MUSTARD YELLOW ink through FOLIAGE stencil & quickly sprinkle CLEAR EMBOSSING POWDER on it & then heat set it. 3. Now blend it again with YELLOW ink & remove the mask. 4. Stamp diya images with VERSAMARK & GOLD EMBOSSING POWDER, heat set it & color & cut. 5. Stamp shubh deepawali with HOT PINK ink apply  CLEAR EMBOSSING POWDER on it...

Hi friends, Anushree on the blog today,I have something unique and very festive to share. I have made some Shagun / cash envelopes for the upcoming festival of Diwali. So tuck your cash or Gift cards in these beautiful envelopes this Diwali and flaunt your handmade goodies. Here are the pictures of my envelopes. I made these two using Tubby craft supplies.Here are the instructions to each one by one.First one is Diwali Wishes envelope. Procedure: 1. I took a patterned paper of size 8*9 inches.Then I started marking with scoring tool,on the 8 inches side mark 1/2 inches on both left and right and on 9 inches side mark with 2,4,3 inches. 2. On the 2 and 3 inches side,cut the 1/2 inches both from left and right and on the 4 inches side fold the 1/2 inches inside and glue the 3 inches side to it. 3. Festive Cards by Tasneem

Hello Everyone, Tasneem this side, sharing two Diwali Cards for today. The Diwali Greetings Stamp set is a bliss to use and you can churn out many different cards using one single stamp set.  Moving on to today's cards : Card 1 : 1. On a textured CS, blend Lemon yellow and Tangy Orange.  2. Heat emboss the Crackers stamp using Gold EP along with the Diya in the center. 3. Added the sentiment in black to finish the card. Card 2 : 1. On a white CS, stamp the little diya to create a border arrangement alternatively in Lemon Yellow and Imperial Red on the top and bottom. 2. Stamp the wishes on to a white CS and mount to a red base and adhere to the center of the card. 3. Stamp the diya on a white CS, watercolor it and adhere to the card. 4. Stunning Diwali cards by Piyu

Hello friends! It's Piyu here today. How's your Diwali preparations going on? If you are planning to make some Diwali cards, do check out our the Diwali stamp sets. I have 3 Diwali cards for you made using them. Not just that, I also have pictorials for 2 cards. So here's the first one - Step 1: I started with stamping and coloring the Diyas from the Diwali Greetings stamp set. I then fussy cut them. Step 2: Then I stamped the intricate design pattern stamp onto the colored diyas using Chocolate Brown dye ink. Step 3: Then I stamped the greeting wordings from the same stamp set onto a white cardstock and layered it onto a red cardstock. Step 4: I stamped the fireworks behind the wordings using Lemon Yellow, Tangy Orange and Imperial Red Dye ink.     Step 5: Finally I adhered the 2 Diyas to complete the card.
