Two CAS cards using Bright Day stamp set

Hi Everyone! Neha here, I have two CAS cards to share with you all. Though card making is not my thing but i have realised that i always end up making clean and simple cards. I love lot of empty white space and a sentiment so it makes an impression of simple yet effective. So here goes my first card. Card-1 Procedure 1. Take a A2 size white card base and a cardstock measuring 1/8" lesser than the card base. 2. Stamp the flower from the Bright day stamp set and color it using colors of your choice. 3. Now from the same stamp stamp the leaves on the white cardstock using Tubby Craft Emerald Green ink. 4. Adhere the flower using foam tape. 5. Mount the beautiful die cut on the flower and i have stamped the sentiment in vertical way to add more interest to the card. Moving onto my next card Card-2 Procedure 1.  Take a A2 size white card base and a cardstock measuring 1/8" lesser than the card base. 2. Stamp the flow...

CAS card + tag

Hello everyone, Ria on this side. I am sure you are using Tubbycraft dye inks and are surely loving them. Today, I have made two easy CAS projects using the same dye inks. Without wasting much time, let us jump onto the projects: Project 1 : For this card design, I have masked the area to be colored firstly. Then I have blended three inks from Tubby craft viz. Lilac Purple, Hot Pink and Light pink . Then, I stamped the images from Floral Peony with Jet black ink and I colored the image with black marker. The sentiment is from the same stampset stamped with jet black dye ink. I have finished the card with adding Nuvo drops crystal clear. Project 2: This is a quick bookmark that I have created. Firstly, I sprayed some water onto a tag and pressed the dye ink pads over it ( Lemon Yellow and Tangy Orange ). Then I stamped the image and sentiment from Butterfly love with Jet black dye ink. I hope you have liked the projects! Supplies used: ...

Cards+Bookmark

Hello all, Ria on this side. Today i have brought three projects made from the february release. Card 1: I have taken a black piece of cardstock and die cut with a circle die. I have stamped the image from Lift-up-balloon with a light colored distress ink on a white cardstock matching up with the black die cut so that the black CS creates a window. I have colored the image with Zig real brush pens by using no line coloring technique. I have marked the stitched lines around the circular window with a white gel pen on the black CS. The sentiment is stamped and embossed with white from Fancy Sentiments . Card 2: I have used shades of blue and silver metallic mixative for the background. I have cut a panel in the lower half and attached white glossy sequins to fill the space. I have used the image from  Precious Treasure , colored it, fussy cut it and adhered it with the sentiment. Bookmarks: I have water colored the bookmarks with distress refill...

Guest Design Post by Hussena Calcuttawala

Hello everyone, This is Hussena here, and I am so happy to be guest designing here :) I blog at  Quill and Punch Works  and you can find me on social media here:  Facebook | Instagram | Pinterest Today, I am sharing three projects I made using the Buttercup set. I absolutely love working with floral images, and the Buttercup set has some really pretty florals which are perfect for coloring and layering. Here's a look at what I have created using this set. To create my card, I first stamped a bunch of flowers and leaves from the Buttercup set using black dye ink on watercolor paper. After stamping the images, I watercolored them using my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers in shades of pinks and blues for the flowers, and green for the leaves. Then I fussy cut the images and put them aside. Once the images were ready, it was time to work on my background and card base. For this, I took a card panel roughly measuring 4...
