 Hi folks, Anirudh this side, and today I'm super excited to share 2 exciting projects with you all, featuring the latest December release stamp sets. So, are you all ready? Let's begin! CARD 1 BOX POP-UP CARD This is an interactive card that opens up into a box. Starting with 4 1/4" x 6" piece of cardstock, score at 3 1/4" and 5 1/2" at the longer side and at 2" at the shorter side. Repeat this so you have two pieces. Trim off the shorter skinny rectangle, and cut along the shorter line to get two flaps. Now score well along all the score lines except a rectangle flap and glue the tabs in a line to get a box with 3 drooping flaps and a back panel flap. Now, for the connecter pieces, use 2 rectangles of 1"x 4" and score and fold at 1/2" on both sides. Attach these two pieces to the square sides of the box.  Hello there everyone, this is Anirudh, Tubby Craft DT Member, with two festive cards using a non-festive stamp set. With the festivities fast approaching, I thought of making some Diwali cards. We all have many regular stamp sets with great images and I tried to give a festive touch to one of my all-time fav stamp set Camelia Layered stamp from Tubby Craft . Other products used would be mentioned at the end of the post. Let's begin... CARD 1 For this card, I used Camelia Layered stamp and stamped the base image with lemon yellow dye ink and the two detail layers with tangy orange dye ink. Then I masked the flower and stamped the leaf image from the stamp set using lawn green dye ink. Next, I fussy cut them and adhered with liquid glue and foam tape onto a deep blue card panel and finished it with a white heat embossed sentiment and a few adhesive half pearls.  Hi everyone, Anirudh this side and today I have two amazing techniques using stencils. I'm featuring the latest Tubby Craft  October release stencil - Foliage 1 . Have a look at the creations... Let's check out the techniques one-by-one; Technique 1: Stencil Resist This is such an easy technique but the impact is high. I started by using a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of cardstock and covered it with Raspberry dye ink directly onto the paper. Then I placed the latest Foliage 1 stencil over this inked paper and sprayed it generously with water. Using a tissue, I wiped the water away and as these are dye inks, they react with water and get lighter in those areas. Now, I used a heat tool to speed things up and this gave a beautiful background. I simply added die-cut sentiments and a few hearts to complete the card.
