See through window cards - Sep release

Hi everyone This is team member Priyadarshini here.  For my post, I have see through window cards using our newly launched stamps. This is a very easy interactive technique to make quick cards. The process to make them is the same but I have used different backgrounds and dies. I have video as well to go along with this post. Products used are mentioned at the end of the post.  Card 1 For my first card, I used Krishna stamp set and mixed it up  with peacock feathers stencils.  First, I did the stenciling part on white cardstock using aqua blue and turquoise ink. Then with a light hand, I added some lawn green to the background.  I took a top fold white notecard and lined up the stenciled piece. Using a circle die, I die cut both the card the layers to create a window.  I added a piece of acetate that will hold the image and make it look like its floating.  To finish the card, I added some embellishments and a sentiment on the inside of the card....

pairing stencils with stamps - 2 simple cards

Hi everyone This is Priyadarshini here. My post for today is about using stencils for background and coordinating stamps to go along with background.  Card 1 For this card, I used Butterfly stencil and Liliac purple ink. I used ink blending tool and dabbed off the excess ink. I didn't want the entire butterfly and stenciled only half of it.  I used butterfly love stamp (my favourite) and stamped and coloured the image.  I took a piece of vellum sheet, since I wanted the background to be visible and yet add the image and sentiment. I tore the edges and placed it in the middle.  For the sentiment, I used Special day greetings stamp set. To finish the card,I added some gemstones. Then used a dark purple cardstock for the base.  Card 2 To make this card, I took a black cardstock and used Stars and circles stencil for the background. For stenciling, I used white texture paste. The reason for using texture paste is, it...

Dye inks on texture medium

These dye inks are water based and they work brilliantly with water. They have a vibrant and beautiful look when applied to paper. If you are using layered stamps, just dry every layer before stamping the next.
