Christmas and New Year Cards | DT -Anshita Talwar

Hello Everybody   With Christmas and New year around the corner, i have come up with two interesting cards . The first one is the Christmas Surprise Card and the second is Lets Celebrate New Year Together Card.   Card 1- Christmas Surprise Card   For the Christmas Surprise Card , i have taken watercolor sheet as the card base . Then i layered it with a red cardstock on which i gave a textured background using Tubby Craft stencil Circle Spread and modelling paste . Then using the sentiment do not open until Christmas from the Christmas Animals stamp set , i stamped the sentiment on the strip of paper to give it a look of a pattern paper  . I glued this wide strip horizontally in the middle  of the red cardstock . Then, using the pattern paper we created, cut out two 4 x 1" and one 4 x 2 3/4" pieces and attach them over the blanks. Then, attach a 1 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece of acetate across, spanning the two split panels keeping the central panel inside. I added a white base piece to write any message on the inner panel. Then, using Mustard yellow and Lemon yellow dye ink pads, I created an inked background and then stamped the rose bunch image from Roses and more stamp set using Chinese blue dye ink pad onto it, fussy cut it out, and attached it to the central panel and also the sentiment on a scrap white cardsto...
