Love card + B'Day Card by DT Anushree

Hi Friends, Anushree here I am so excited to join you all in this new year. I have got some lovely inspirations today using Tubby Craft products. First I have this cute Valentine's Day card,  I have used Couple Hugs stamp set for my card along with some pattern papers in the background. To make my card, I took some left over pattern papers, these were on love theme and pasted them as seen on a Grey Card stock. Next I stamped the image on a white cardstock and coloured in alcohol markers. I have fussy cut the image and adhered to the card using foam tape. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and inked in Jet Black Tubby Craft ink. I completed my card with some enamel dots. Now onto my second card, I really enjoy making birthday cards, and Tubby Craft has got some very cute stamp sets to bring cards to life. Foe this card I have used Make a wish stamp set along with Checkered Stencil. To make my card, I took a white base card stock. Next I took another white cardstock ...

SLIMLINE SHADOW-BOX CARD WITH BIRTHDAY KIT I DT ANIRUDH

Hi there folks! I'm back with another exciting crafty video tutorial- A Slimline shadow-box card using our latest Birthday Theme kit. CLICK HERE Let's check out its details; I started by trimming out 2pcs. of  Iris paper from this kit that measures 8.5" x 5.5" and then scored along both the long sides at 1/2" and 1" on both these cardstocks. Now, fold the scored line to form a Z-shape. Using a ruler and a craft knife, you can cut out a rectangular window off of one of the pieces and attach a 3 1/4" x 8 1/4" piece of thick acetate at the backside of the window. On the base of the other piece, I adhered a pattern paper from the gorgeous Sweet Treats 6x6 paper pack included in this kit. Since the paper is 6" wide, I chose a pattern that could be attached seamlessly. Now, I glued the two outer tabs of these two Z-shaped sheets to create a shadowbox that collapses to fit flat into an office A9 envelope. Now comes the fun part, decorating!  I stam...

Stencil highlighting technique

Hello everyone, Welcome back to Tubby Craft blog..  This is design team member Priyadarshini here today.  Today I have 2 cards with a video tutorial on how to do stencil highlighting. Its my favourite stenciling technique where you can get more from stencils. I have used only markers and pencils in this video but water colours can also be used. Water based inks will work perfectly for this technique. But I am keeping it simple and easy here.  Link to video:   https://youtu.be/C8F5hn2I9fI Card 1 For this card, I used peacock feathers stencil and aqua blue ink. To do the highlighting, I used alcohol markers from Spectrum Noir. I first started with the dark shade and blended to the the lightest shade. To finish the card, I added some gemstones and sentiment.  Card 2 For this card, I used geometric stencil and lavender violet ink. To do the highlighting for this card, I used pencils from Polychromos. To finish ...
