Women's day cards l DT Priyadarshini

Hello everyone This is DT Priyadarshini here and today I will be sharing 2 cards for International women's day. I found a beautiful quote online about how strong women raises other women instead of tearing them down. With this being said, let's dive into the two cards I have to share today.  Card 1 My first card is a simple one using Bloom stamp set, Dot illusion stencil and sentiment from Special day greetings stamp set.  I stamped the image on white cardstock and coloured it with pencils.  I stamped the image again on masking paper so I can stencil around the image. I added the masking paper and used dot illusion stencil and used Lavender violet ink to stencil.  Using Jet black ink, I added the sentiment and some pearls to finish the card.  Card 2 This is a super fun card I made and I used Vintage wishes stamp set, Aqua blue ink for the sky and sentiment from Bloom.  I stamped the girl from the stamp set and coloured her. For the background,...

Texture backgrounds using dye inks

For the cards, I used three stamp sets and one sentiment to go for all cards. Stamps set I used here are  Precious treasure ,  Bloom  and  Butterfly love .  Tubby Craft  has awesome  dye inks  that react with water which makes them perfect for watercolouring, inking, stenciling, stamping and more. These inks serve a lot of purpose and this post is all about how to stretch them and use them on other materials apart from stamps.  Card using Bubble wrap The first that popped in my mind when I thought about adding texture is bubble wrap. They work perfectly for any underwater card or just bac...
