Janmashtami special monochromatic cards I DT Anirudh

Hathi ghoda paalki, Jai kanhaiya laal ki! Hello everyone and a very happy Janmashtami. Janmashtami is one of my fav festivals, and so, I thought of making a card to celebrate the occasion, but I came up with two ideas coz these monochromatic cards are super quick to make! Here are today's projects; CARD 1 For this card, I started by stamping the main image from the Krishna stamp set onto white cardstock using Lavender Violet tubby dye ink and then fussy cut it out. Then I stamped the greeting onto a white strip with the same ink and then cut it as a banner. For the base, I chose a purple card base and then added a few diagonal layers and a silver mirror cardstock swirl die cut for some interest. Now, I simply foam taped the image and the sentiments and our card is done! Have a closer look at the card; CARD 2 This card is also very easy to make,  Start by taking a white A2 card panel and stamp the phrase onto it with Lavender Violet tubby dye ink to create a background. Janmashtami cards

Hello everyone This is DT Priyadarshini here today and we are celebrating Janmashtmi today and I decided to share a couple of cards I made for the occasion.  CARD 1 To start with, I stamped the image on watercolour paper using  Lead grey ink .  I coloured using  Chocolate brown ,  Emerald green ,  Tangy orange ,  Lilac purple  dye inks. I fuzzy cut the image and kept it aside. I took a top fold note card and added a black cardstock. I took another piece of white card and stenciled using peacock feathers stencil with  Aqua blue  dye ink.  Added the stenciled piece and a vellum sheet to the base and added the image and sentiment to finish the card.  CARD 2 For my next card, I used only the stencil and sentiment from the stamp set.  I used Lead grey dye ink to first stencil on white card stock. I separately stenciled one feather using Aqua blue ink and highlighted using colour pencils.  I fuzzy cut the feather and added ...

Tubby Craft DIY birthday kit projects

Hello there this is DT Priyadarshini here Birthdays are such a wonderful occasion to celebrate with loved ones. How to make it more fun??? By using out   DIY paper craft kit - Birthday theme   from Tubby Craft. This kit has all the basics we need to create cards and tag and more... The kit contains a stamp set, stencils, ink pads, white card stock, shaker elements, acrylic block, blending brush and pattern paper. I enjoyed making these 3 very very simple projects using this kit.  Roseate topper I took 2 pattern papers from the kit and trimmed one down to 3 pieces of 2" wide and 2 pieces of 1" width. Using my scoreboard, I scored at every quarter inch and trimmed out the last cut alone.  I did valley fold and mountain fold and burnished the scored lines well. I used liquid glue to attach the pieces together To make the roseate, I pinched the sides together and sealed it with a small circle piece and hot glue.  I used the large cake image from the stamp set ...

Side step card & tag - Dinosaur & friends

Hello there, This is DT Priyadarshini here and today I using stamps released by Tubby Craft are the cutest set of dinosaurs I have seen. The stamp set I have used today is  Dinosaur and Friends .  I have a super fun card and a very simple tag here. I tried to create a small scene here using stamps and die cuts. The best part about this stamp set is that we can create so many projects using these images from CAS cards to chabby chic to interactive cards. These images will be loved and adored by kids when they receive super fun birthday cards as there are amazing sentiments that go along with this stamp set.  SIDE STEP FOLD CARD To make a side step card, I took a 8.5" by 5.5" inch cardstock. I used a paper trimmer and along the 5.5" side, I placed the cardstock at 3" and the cutting blade at 1" and cut along until 6.5" Now it's time to do the scoring part.. Place the cardtsock on a score board, and on the shorter side (that's 2.5") score at 4.25...
