SLIMLINE SHADOW-BOX CARD WITH BIRTHDAY KIT I DT ANIRUDH

Hi there folks! I'm back with another exciting crafty video tutorial- A Slimline shadow-box card using our latest Birthday Theme kit. CLICK HERE Let's check out its details; I started by trimming out 2pcs. of  Iris paper from this kit that measures 8.5" x 5.5" and then scored along both the long sides at 1/2" and 1" on both these cardstocks. Now, fold the scored line to form a Z-shape. Using a ruler and a craft knife, you can cut out a rectangular window off of one of the pieces and attach a 3 1/4" x 8 1/4" piece of thick acetate at the backside of the window. On the base of the other piece, I adhered a pattern paper from the gorgeous Sweet Treats 6x6 paper pack included in this kit. Since the paper is 6" wide, I chose a pattern that could be attached seamlessly. Now, I glued the two outer tabs of these two Z-shaped sheets to create a shadowbox that collapses to fit flat into an office A9 envelope. Now comes the fun part, decorating!  I stam

Side step card & tag - Dinosaur & friends

Hello there, This is DT Priyadarshini here and today I using stamps released by Tubby Craft are the cutest set of dinosaurs I have seen. The stamp set I have used today is  Dinosaur and Friends .  I have a super fun card and a very simple tag here. I tried to create a small scene here using stamps and die cuts. The best part about this stamp set is that we can create so many projects using these images from CAS cards to chabby chic to interactive cards. These images will be loved and adored by kids when they receive super fun birthday cards as there are amazing sentiments that go along with this stamp set.  SIDE STEP FOLD CARD To make a side step card, I took a 8.5" by 5.5" inch cardstock. I used a paper trimmer and along the 5.5" side, I placed the cardstock at 3" and the cutting blade at 1" and cut along until 6.5" Now it's time to do the scoring part.. Place the cardtsock on a score board, and on the shorter side (that's 2.5") score at 4.25

Birthday Card with an Awning

Hello everyone,  Today I am on the blog to share with you a card with an awning. I have honestly never made an awning card before - it's a first for me! When I scoped around Pinterest for some ideas, I came across a beautiful wooden awning with wrought iron. So that was my inspiration for this card: This card reminded me of the refreshment bars or bakeries alongside the beach or at a pool and wished I was there to enjoy a cool refreshment under an awning. For this card I used archival ink to stamp my images on the iris paper provided in the kit. I then water colored my images and fussy cut them using scissors.  I used window pocket die by Dress my craft  to make the awning over the bar. I have used sheet from   Sweet Treat Paper pack by Dress my craft   for making awning. I took iris paper provided in the kit and used brick  Brick Stencil by Tubby Craft to do that 3D- Brick embossing on the card. I then took a brown cardstock and die cut it and applied double sided foam tape to m

Cute Shaker Tags using Tubby Craft stamps

Hello Everyone , Today I am on the blog top share with you shaker tags I made using Tubby Craft newly released stamp set  Dinosaur and Friends . This is such a cute  stamp set and one can create infinite number of cards  & Tags  using this stamp set. These tags were really a joy to create, And quite easy thanks to the We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool. This is also a great idea to get the kids involved. They will have a blast creating the water colored inserts as well as filling the tags with all of the shaker goodness. Gift tags are gift tags. Even after you've put time into designing them, no one really pays any attention to it except to check if the present is theirs. This can be frustrating as a crafter who pours their heart and souls into their creations. Perhaps it's because the recipient doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary about the tag. If so, I have a fun idea to share with you that will sure catch their attention. Step 1:To create my tag, I started by
