'Plumeria' floral Valentine cards

Hello there, This is DT Priyadarshini here today and I am happy to be back on  Tubby Craft  blog and this time I am using  Plumeria florals  stamp set. I wanted to use it for a while and finally I was able to do it and now this has become my all time favourite floral stamp set. I love the floral here and the opportunity I get to practice colouring is brilliant. I made 3 cards for today and I had to make the tough decision to stop making cards with this stamp.   Card 1 This is my first card using Plumeria and I did some masking to make this card.  I stamped the image first on one corner of the white cardstock and stamped the same on masking paper. I masked the stamped part and stamped the image again on the other side.  I masked both the florals and inked using  Light pink  ink. I removed the masking paper and coloured the images.  Since Tubby dye inks react to water, I dabbed some jet black ink on an acrylic block and added so...

Merry & bright Christmas cards

Hello there, This is DT Priyadarshini here and I am happy to continue being a part of tubby craft. For today, I have two simple Christmas cards where I mixed matched the stamps to make them along with inks and stencil. I made the cards like a sequence where the first card shows the elephant taking a Christmas tree home and the second card with a decorated Christmas home.  Card 1 - Bring home Christmas For my first card, I used elephant and the basket from Adorable runner stamp set and used Christmas tree and sentiment from Shine on stamp set.  I stamped the images and coloured them using colour pencils and alcohol markers, I fuzzy cut them out and kept them aside. I took a white notecard to ink up the sky and the land using Turquoise blue and emerald green  I wanted to tuck the Christmas tree in the basket, so I made a slit in the tree and tucked it into the basket.  I added the images to the inked notecard and using a black pen I attached the cycle...

Tubby Craft DIY birthday kit projects

Hello there this is DT Priyadarshini here Birthdays are such a wonderful occasion to celebrate with loved ones. How to make it more fun??? By using out   DIY paper craft kit - Birthday theme   from Tubby Craft. This kit has all the basics we need to create cards and tag and more... The kit contains a stamp set, stencils, ink pads, white card stock, shaker elements, acrylic block, blending brush and pattern paper. I enjoyed making these 3 very very simple projects using this kit.  Roseate topper I took 2 pattern papers from the kit and trimmed one down to 3 pieces of 2" wide and 2 pieces of 1" width. Using my scoreboard, I scored at every quarter inch and trimmed out the last cut alone.  I did valley fold and mountain fold and burnished the scored lines well. I used liquid glue to attach the pieces together To make the roseate, I pinched the sides together and sealed it with a small circle piece and hot glue.  I used the large cake image from the stamp set ...
