Rakhi Gift Pillow box I DT Anirudh

Hello dearies! The festive season in India is just about to begin and the first in line is Rakshabandhan, and today I have an amazing gift pillow box.  It's perfect to hold chocolates, small gifts, and gift cash. Let me show you its construction, and trust me, it is simple and easy to make. So let's start... Take a big piece of white cardstock and use Aqua Blue dye ink and our amazing Blending brush to blend through Watercolor lines stencil in a horizontal direction. Then, rotate the stencil to the vertical direction and blend using Hot Pink dye ink. This gives a great plaid background and the purple at the interjunctions is so very pretty! Using a pillow box die (or a simple pillow box template from the net) construct the pillow box and now is the fun time - decoration! I used the Sibling Festival stamp to stamp the bro-sis image, Copic colored it, fussy cut it out, and then glued to a golden filigree for some interest. Then, I adhered this to the pillow box. For the sentimen

Then I simply took a fancy cord/lace and hot glued the images over it. To prevent the glue from scratching the delicate wrists, I glued small pieces of felt, reinforcing the glued image.
