Hello dearies!
The festive season in India is just about to begin and the first in line is Rakshabandhan,
and today I have an amazing gift pillow box.
It's perfect to hold chocolates, small gifts, and gift cash.
Let me show you its construction, and trust me, it is simple and easy to make.
So let's start...
Take a big piece of white cardstock and use Aqua Blue dye ink and our amazing Blending brush to blend through Watercolor lines stencil in a horizontal direction. Then, rotate the stencil to the vertical direction and blend using Hot Pink dye ink. This gives a great plaid background and the purple at the interjunctions is so very pretty!
Using a pillow box die (or a simple pillow box template from the net) construct the pillow box and now is the fun time - decoration!
I used the Sibling Festival stamp to stamp the bro-sis image, Copic colored it, fussy cut it out, and then glued to a golden filigree for some interest. Then, I adhered this to the pillow box. For the sentiment, I simply stamped using the same hot pink ink.
Finally, I added a few adhesive gems and finished my project!
You can even send rakhis to your distant brothers and this will definitely bring a smile to their faces...
I loved creating this so much and hope that you all would enjoy making it too!
