Hello crafty people! Hope your week is up to a good start... Rakshabandhan is just around the corner and so, I've got a video tutorial for easy peasy DIY Rakhi for kiddos. I started by stamping cute images from various stamp sets with Jet Black dye ink onto white cardstock, colored them using copics, and then fussy cut them out. I always use a black marker to give a nice finishing to the edges of the pieces. Then, I laminated these and then cut them again, leaving a good margin across the image so the seal doesn't open up. Then I simply took a fancy cord/lace and hot glued the images over it. To prevent the glue from scratching the delicate wrists, I glued small pieces of felt, reinforcing the glued image.
