Spring/Summer Floral Card using Spotlight Technique- DT Anirudh

Hello folks and a very happy Thursday to you all! Today, I've got a fresh and vibrant card to share. This card features a very cool technique which I like to call the SPOTLIGHT Technique! Ain't this pretty?  Let's have a look at how I created the card... To start with, I took an A2 size panel of white cardstock and using an acrylic block, stamped the solid base of the larger of the two roses from the Layered Roses stamp set with Lemon Yellow Tubby Dye ink. Then I used the 2nd layering stamp and positioned it over the previously stamped image with the same dye ink but this time 3 times... and then the final outline using Mustard Yellow Tubby Dye ink. Then, I masked this rose and stamped the leaf images with Lawn Green, Emerald Green, and Olive Green Tubby Dye inks respectively. Now, to fill the leftover space, I simply stamped the outline stamps of the rose and the leaves using the darkest inks and filled the space. Now for the sentiment, I used "sending love" fro...

Card with A Loaded Envelope

Hello Everyone! Today I am here to share with you a card with an envelope I created using  Swirls and Floral Stamp by Tubby Craft  and   Hand Made Stamp  by Tubby Craft. For this card I first made an envelope using punch board .This envelope is of the dimensions of 3" by 4". I then took plain white cardstock and applied  Lawn Green  ink through the  Crack It Stencil . I adhered this stenciled card stock on the card base and also adhered the envelope on top of it.  I then stamped the images from the stamp set Swirls and Florals  using  Jet Black Ink by Tubby Craft . I then coloured all the stamped Images using my Copic Markers. I further fussy cut these elements and arranged them in the little envelope to give it a look of a loaded envelope. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set  Envelope Quotes  and pasted it below the envelope. I just love how this card turned out. So this is all from me Today.    I...

Birthday shaker card & CAS card

Hello everyone This is DT Priyadarshini here with another simple shaker card using  DIY PAPER CRAFT KIT - KIDS SPECIAL - BIRTHDAY THEME . The kit has amazing products to make a ton of cards or tags and more.  Shaker card I stamped the large cake, candles and a couple of cupcakes on white cardstock and coloured using pencils.  I kept the fuzzy cut elements aside and started making the shaker part. On another piece of white cardstock, I blended using Imperial Red and Lemon yellow inks using the blending tool from the kit.   I used square dies to cut a frame for the shaker part and pasted a piece of acetate. I added some foam adhesive behind the frame. On the ink blended part, I added two cupcakes and sequins. Then I added the acetate part.  To finish the card, I took a top fold note card and added the large cake on one corner of the shaker part and some flowers on the other side.  I added the sentiment using Jet black ink and the card is done....

Craft-A-Long with the Kids Edition Kit | Tasha and Special Guests!

Hey crafty people! It's Tasha here, from HandmadeByTasha, and I'm here today with two very special guests. I love showing you all the wonderful things that Tubby Craft's kits can do, but this time I thought it was time to hand over to a couple of little experts! I had so much fun crafting along with my children, with this awesome kit! There are so many different parts of the kit that make it entertaining for a huge range of ages; my 6 & 10 year olds were both loving it!! We did some ink smooshing using all three of the coloured inks, to see what mixture of colour we would end up with! We ended up with this cool Purple background which could be used on any project! They both loved using the blending brush that comes in the kit! Here, my daughter blended a custom 'fire' background with the red & yellow inks, letting them mix to get an orange hue. She also stamped, coloured and fussy cut the cake from the stamp set you get in the kit - I LOVE the rainbow icing...
