RAINBOW STENCIL CARDS USING Stencils by DT DHRUVIKA

 Hello Crafty Folks!!

Spring is here and if you follow me on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/the_cardogram/?hl=en) you would have seen my garden springing up with the cherry blossoms.. It is a sight to see. I love the colors of the flowers around and how they create the rainbow effect on the ground.

So taking an inspiration from there, I have created the rainbow colored cards using the stencils that come in Tubby Craft Monthly Kit for Kids Theme.

My First Card

To create this card, you shall require

Tubby Craft Balloons Stencil

Tubby Craft Alphabet Stencil

Dress My Craft Iris Paper panel trimmed to 4x51/4 inches for the panel

Dress My Craft Iris Paper for card base trimmed to 4X11 inches scored in half along the 11 inches

Tubby Craft Dye Ink Pads Aqua Blue, Turquoise Blue, Lemon Yellow, Tangy Orange, Lawn Green, Emerald Green, Jet Black, Lilac Purple, Lavender Purple, Hot Pink, Light Pink, Sapphire Blue, Imperial Red

Tubby Craft Bloom Stamp Set

Creating the Card

I fixed the stencil on the panel trimmed to 4x51/4 inches using the carpenter's tape. And started to stencil using the Dye Inks mentioned above. I ensured that some of the balloon stencilling overlap. While some stencils were intentionally kept out from the panel in all sides to give the illusion of floating in the air.

Tip : Use the lighter and the darker shade together to create a full look.

Adding Sentiments on the Card

I stencilled the sentiments #HBD using the Tubby Craft Alphabet Stencil and Tubby Craft Jet Black Dye Ink. To add interest I stencilled the outline using the Black Glitter Pen. I stamped the sentiments using the same Tubby Craft Jet Black Dye Ink Sending Kind Wishes from the stamp Tubby Craft  Bloom Stamp Set.

Finishing the Card

To finish the card, I added some enamel dots in contrast. And then stuck the panel on the white card base.

Let's have a closer look at the card

My Second Card

The second card is also a rainbow card using the stencils only. Let us have a look first.

WOW White Embossing Powder

Dress My Craft Iris Paper Panel measuring 4x51/5 inches

Dress My Craft Iris Paper for card base trimmed to 4X11 inches scored in half along the 11 inches

Black Cardstock for sentiments

Creating this Card

To create this card I affixed the Alphabet Stencil on the panel. I stencilled the alphabets H and I using the Versamark Embossing Clear Ink and heat set it using the White Embossing Powder. Once the powder was set, I started with the ink blending using the shades as mentioned above to create the rainbow.  Once I was happy with the ink blending I added some black acrylic paint splatters to add some texture.

Adding Sentiments

To treated the black card stock with the antistatic powder and stamped the sentiments Bundle of Joy from The Tubby Craft Baby in A Box Stamp set and heat set using the White Embossing Powder and cut it in a banner.

Finishing the Card

Once I was happy with the panel, I affixed the panel on the card base of the size mentioned above using the 3D foam tape and then fixed the sentiments on the black cardstock again using the 3D foam tape.

Let's have a closer look  at the card.

I hope you got inspired by the cards that I created. I would love to know here or on my Instagram Page how you liked the card and show us what you create.

ATC coins using mini stamps

Hello there, This is Priyadarshini here today, I have ATC coins here today using stamps from Tubby craft. I have used 3 different stamps to make these. They are easy and quick to make and absolute fun too. I have a common base here which is black cardstock and die cut small circle from white cardstock. I created different background for each using stencils and inks from Tubby craft.  What are Artist trading coins? They are miniature art created on 2.5"circle of heavy base cardstock.  ATC with stenciled background                      First, I stenciled the white cardstock using stencils and dye inks. Then added this to a black circle die cut.  Inks used are:  Turquoise ,  Olive green ,  Lavender violet I offset the stencil to get a a complete stenciled background. I stamped the images from  Lovely Owl  and  Butterfly Love  and coloured them with colour pencils.  To embellish, I added corrugated sheet, cotton gauze and twine.  To finish the coins, I added

Tubby Craft - Penguin Love - Birthday Cards by Deepti

Hello Everyone, I'm stopping by to share two birthday cards using cute Tubby Craft stamp called "Penguin Love" and "Birthday Wishes". I have used Masking technique to make both the cards. Card 1 To make this card, I die cut out the white card stock and stamped the penguins by masking them using Black tubby craft ink. Once satisfied, I stamped the balloons too and colored all these images using alcohol markers. After that I stamped the sentiment on white strip and adhered the same using foam tape along with washi tape. Glued it on Pista green card stock. Finally added some clear sequins to complete it. Here is my second card using same stamp set.. For this card also, I die cut out white card stock . Then I stamped the image and masked it to ink the background. After that I stamped the balloons and the sentiment. Added stamped and fussy cut gift too.  Finally adhered it on matching note card and added some matching s

Two amazing anniversary cards by Anushree

Hi Everyone !! Hope you all are doing good and crafting too. I have two cards for today. I have highlighted  different techniques for each card. Onto my first card, I have tried showcasing repeated stamping in a border style . I have used Plumeria Florals stamp set and Jet Black dye ink from Tubby craft to stamp the border first. Next I chose Imperial Red and Lead gray dye inks from Tubby Craft to color my florals. Sentiment is a die cut on Gold card stock and the card is embellished in gold peals. For border,I have adhered Gold border die cut to enhance the card on a black cardstock. Now onto my second card, I am using Checkered Stencil for the background .I have used rainbow colors from Tubby Craft Dye ink collection to put them on paper using blending brushes. I masked the center with a circle die cut before applying inks to the card base. Once stenciled background is ready,I removed the mask and stamped sentiment from Luc
