Tubby Crafts Ink Backgrounds and Under the Sea Cards with Precious Treasure Stamp

Hi All,

This is Priya Sondhi from Priya and Papers. I am super excited to be the guest designer here at Tubby Craft.
Tubby Craft is a new venture for card making supplies and they are the first ones to introduced stamping dye inks that are "Made in India".  They also have super cute range of card making stamp sets. I will be sharing a series of inspirational posts showcasing Tubby Craft stamps and inks this month!
Today I have 2 cards for you which I made using inks and Precious Treasure stamp set. I made background panels by ink blending over stencils using Tubby crafts inks.

Card 1 : You are a Treasure Card
For this card I created under the sea scene using Lilac Purple and Sapphire Blue ink pads.  I have also used Jet Black ink pad to stamp my images. I colored the images from the stamp set using Zig clean color brush pens.

These ink are super juicy to begin with and mix up well with each other to create a vibrant mix of colors. These inks are reactive with water as I sprinkled droplets of water with a paint brush on this panel.

The stamps are carved with perfection and works well with each technique. For this card, I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder over black cardstock and as you can see, the impression is perfect!

Card 2 : You are a Pearl
I totally loved how this card turned out. I had this idea of a shining beautiful pearl as center of my card and thanks to Tubby craft inks, I was able to turn the blueprint into physical card.

To create the background, I used Tubby Craft Lemon Yellow and Imperial Red ink and blended over radiant ray stencil. Tubby craft inks work well with foam blending tools that are available in the market and I used what I had in my stash. You can use any stencil and ink blending tools that you have.

Here is a close up of the shell pearl stamp from the stamp set. Notice the crisp stamping with Tubby Craft Jet Black ink. The black color didn't bleed at all with the zig colors pens. I always let the outlined stamping impression to dry before using any coloring medium to fill in.

Here is a list of all the Tubby Crafts supplies I used to make these cards.

1. Precious Treasure Stamp Set
 2. Imperial Red Ink Pad
 3. Lemon Yellow Ink Pad
 3. Jet Black Ink Pad
 3. Lilac Purple Ink Pad
4. Sapphire Blue Ink Pad

That's it for today. I hope you will like the cards I made with Tubby craft stamps and inks. Do leave a comment if you liked it.
I will be back next Monday with another inspirational post using Tubby Crafts supplies so stay tuned!

Cheers,
Priya Sondhi

They are miniature art created on 2.5"circle of heavy base cardstock.  ATC with stenciled background                      First, I stenciled the white cardstock using stencils and dye inks. Then added this to a black circle die cut.  Inks used are:  Turquoise ,  Olive green ,  Lavender violet I offset the stencil to get a a complete stenciled background. I stamped the images from  Lovely Owl  and  Butterfly Love  and coloured them with colour pencils.  To embellish, I added corrugated sheet, cotton gauze and twine.  To finish the coins, I added

Hello Everyone, I'm stopping by to share two birthday cards using cute Tubby Craft stamp called "Penguin Love" and "Birthday Wishes". I have used Masking technique to make both the cards. Card 1 To make this card, I die cut out the white card stock and stamped the penguins by masking them using Black tubby craft ink. Once satisfied, I stamped the balloons too and colored all these images using alcohol markers. After that I stamped the sentiment on white strip and adhered the same using foam tape along with washi tape. Glued it on Pista green card stock. Finally added some clear sequins to complete it. Here is my second card using same stamp set.. For this card also, I die cut out white card stock . Then I stamped the image and masked it to ink the background. After that I stamped the balloons and the sentiment. Added stamped and fussy cut gift too.  Finally adhered it on matching note card and added some matching s

Two amazing anniversary cards by Anushree

Hi Everyone !! Hope you all are doing good and crafting too. I have two cards for today. I have highlighted  different techniques for each card. Onto my first card, I have tried showcasing repeated stamping in a border style . I have used Plumeria Florals stamp set and Jet Black dye ink from Tubby craft to stamp the border first. Next I chose Imperial Red and Lead gray dye inks from Tubby Craft to color my florals. Sentiment is a die cut on Gold card stock and the card is embellished in gold peals. For border,I have adhered Gold border die cut to enhance the card on a black cardstock. Now onto my second card, I am using Checkered Stencil for the background .I have used rainbow colors from Tubby Craft Dye ink collection to put them on paper using blending brushes. I masked the center with a circle die cut before applying inks to the card base. Once stenciled background is ready,I removed the mask and stamped sentiment from Luc
