Birthdays Are Fun!

Hello everyone! It's me Berina here today with 2 birthday cards. I realized most of my cards have coloring in them and that I don't do ink blending as often as I would like to! So I challenged myself to make a card with ink blending and no other coloring :) That led me to the making of these 2 cards today.

Card 1:

Here's how I made this card:

  • I took a top folding A2 card base and placed the Hero Arts Deco Pattern Stencil and adhered it temporarily with masking tape.
  • I used the Tubby Craft Light Pink and Lavender Violet inks to ink the stencil pattern.
  • I stamped the number 1 stamp from the One is Fun stamp set and fussy cut it. I colored the edges with a black marker.
  • I stamped the sentiment from the Fancy Sentiments stamp set using the Tubby Craft Jet Black ink on top of the stenciling.
  • I adhered the number 1 on to the card base with glue.

Here's another pic of the card:

Card 2:

Here's how I made this card:

  • I die cut a oval window from a scrap paper and used the window to blend ink on to the A2 card base. I used Tubby Craft Light Pink ink.
  • I stamped the rosette images from the Adorable Rubber stamp set with Light Pink, Hot Pink and Lavender Violet inks after masking them. I stamped them on all 4 corners of the card front.
  • I stamped the number 2 image on a piece of card stock and fussy cut it. I colored the edges with black marker.
  • I stamped the sentiment with the Jet Black ink.
  • I adhered the number 2 above the sentiment.

Here's another pic of the card:

Well, do you think I succeeded in my challenge? These cards were pretty easy and quick to make. I love how they have turned out. Please do let me know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

ATC coins using mini stamps

Hello there, This is Priyadarshini here today, I have ATC coins here today using stamps from Tubby craft. I have used 3 different stamps to make these. They are easy and quick to make and absolute fun too. I have a common base here which is black cardstock and die cut small circle from white cardstock. I created different background for each using stencils and inks from Tubby craft.  What are Artist trading coins? They are miniature art created on 2.5"circle of heavy base cardstock.  ATC with stenciled background                      First, I stenciled the white cardstock using stencils and dye inks. Then added this to a black circle die cut.  Inks used are:  Turquoise ,  Olive green ,  Lavender violet I offset the stencil to get a a complete stenciled background. I stamped the images from  Lovely Owl  and  Butterfly Love  and coloured them with colour penci...

Two amazing anniversary cards by Anushree

Hi Everyone !! Hope you all are doing good and crafting too. I have two cards for today. I have highlighted  different techniques for each card. Onto my first card, I have tried showcasing repeated stamping in a border style . I have used Plumeria Florals stamp set and Jet Black dye ink from Tubby craft to stamp the border first. Next I chose Imperial Red and Lead gray dye inks from Tubby Craft to color my florals. Sentiment is a die cut on Gold card stock and the card is embellished in gold peals. For border,I have adhered Gold border die cut to enhance the card on a black cardstock. Now onto my second card, I am using Checkered Stencil for the background .I have used rainbow colors from Tubby Craft Dye ink collection to put them on paper using blending brushes. I masked the center with a circle die cut before applying inks to the card base. Once stenciled background is ready,I removed the mask and stamped sentiment from...
