Sending Love Card | Guest Post by Hussena Calcuttawala

Hello everyone, This is Hussena here, and I am so happy to be guest designing this month at the Tubby Craft blog! I blog at  Quill and Punch Works  and you can find me on social media here: Facebook   |   Instagram   |   Pinterest Today, I am sharing a card I made using the Lift Up Balloon stamp set from Tubby Craft. I wanted to do some watercoloring using this stamp set. Here's a look at what I have created: To create this card, I first stenciled the background using a cloud stencil and dye inks. After I was satisfied with the way the background looked, I stamped the image from the Lift Up Balloon set using Tubby Craft Jet Black Dye ink on Canson Montval watercolor paper. I stamped it using black ink, and clear embossed it because I wanted to do watercoloring. After clear heat embossing the image, I colored it using Kuretake Zig Clean Color Brush pens. I also stamped the little boat basket from the same stamp set...

Thank You Cards Using Floral Peony

Hi All, It's Priya from  Priya-n-Papers . As I am guest designing this month for Tubby Craft, I am sharing a set of cards I made with beautiful stamp set from Tubby Craft called "Floral Peony". This stamp set has 8-9 stamps which can be used to build a beautiful bouquet of peonies. The main floral stamps are outlined, which can be used to color in the images. I have heat embossed the stamps with gold embossing powder over watercolor paper and colored these with Zig clean clear brush pens. After coloring, I fuzzy cut the images and arranged them as bouquet of flowers I used same set of supplies and designed 2 similar cards but with different colors. Card 1 : Blooming Yellow Thank You Card For this card, I used yellow, orange and a bit of pink color to color my images. I love how the heat embossing came out with these stamps. The outlines of florals are of right thickness and perfect for watercoloring. I used matching cardstock to make the base of my card. ...

Guest Design Post by Piyu : Giraffe Love

Hello Friends, This is Priyadarshini a.k.a Piyu and I am so happy and honored to be here. First of all I would like to thank Shruti for giving me the opportunity to guest design for Tubby Craft. Today I am sharing a couple of cards made using the stamp set - Giraffe Love. So here is my first card- First I created a blended background using 3 inks from Tubby Craft - Imperial red, Lemon Yellow and Sapphire blue. I blended red and yellow to create orange and Yellow and blue to create green. I have used Brustro water color paper and these inks blend so well on it. I stamped a giraffe behind another using masking technique and colored the images using copic markers. Then I created cascading heart layers and finally added the sentiment, also from the same stamp set. My second card is a square card .  I made it using the heart die cut which was a left over from my first card. The adorable giraffe image is colored using copics.   I added the sentiment aroun...
