'Baby in box' - baby cards

Hi everyone This is Priyadarshini here and today I have 2 simple baby cards made using one stamp set - Baby in box . Its an adorable stamp set and can be used to make baby cards or art journal or tags and much more. I used dye inks for both my cards and did repeated stamping for one of the cards.  Card 1 - Ink blending To make this I used Turquoise and Lavender violet ink and blended them together for the background.  I stamped the images, coloured and fuzzy cut them.  I added the background to note card and added a strip of black cardstock Using double sided foam adhesive, I added the images and the stamped sentiment To finish the card, I added some stars from It's a boy stamp set and added some liquid pearls.  Card 2 - Repeated stamping For my second card, I did some repeated stamping.  I inked a white card stock with hot pink ink and let it dry completely.  While the ink was drying, I stamped, coloured and fuzzy cut the image.  I used the tedd...

Three Designs, One Card Sketch - November Facebook Challenge!

Hey crafty people! Tasha here with some more inspiration and this month I decided to use the sketch from our Facebook group's current challenge. I have three cards to share which all come from that sketch, but I wanted to show you three totally different ways you can choose to use it.  Card 1 I started off really simply, using the sketch in what is definitely my most literal interpretation. For the line you can see in the sketch, I used the dashed line stamp from  Manika  stamp set, stamping it in  Chinese Blue . Then I grabbed the 'I Love You' sentiment from the  Couple Hugs  stamp set and I used  Imperial Red  for that. You can see that I have very literally got a line with a sentiment above it, coming in from the left hand side at the bottom of my card, just like the sketch. I did decide to add three hearts from the same  Couple Hugs  stamp set around my other elements just to add a bit of extra interest. Card 2 I decided ...

CAS cards with dry embossing technique

Hello and a very happy Diwali everyone. With the increasing trend of clean and simple cards, I, Anirudh, DT member, bring to you all two easy and beautiful cards that feature the dry embossing technique.  So let's start! THE TECHNIQUE  Dry embossing with stencils gives a subtle look to any project. For this, use this sandwich and run it through your machine; from below upwards, clear plate - embossing plate - embossing pad - paper - stencil - clear plate. You may need to add additional shims for deeper emboss looks. CARD 1 I started with a white card panel and dry embossed using zig-zag stencil. Then I used the Diwali greetings stamp to do some no-line watercoloring of the diya image with zig markers and fussy cut it out. Then I simply attached that to a red shaped die-cut and that over the embossed panel. For the sentiment, I used Chinese Blue dye ink. Lastly, I added this to a white card base. Take a look at the beautiful detail... CARD 2 For this card, I used the Star...
