Hey Crafty People! Today I'm sharing a fun, ink blending technique using embossing to create a pattern. I'm making a whole bunch of gift tags using several of the products included in the Birthdays DIY Papercrafting Kit . The technique I'm using is called emboss resist; you stamp and emboss onto your cardstock, I like to use either white or clear embossing powder, then you can ink blend over the top and the embossing will resist the ink. You can wipe any excess ink off the embossing and you have the stamped pattern perfectly visible. I used several of the small stamp images within the Birthday stamp set (included in the kit) to create several different repeat stamping patterns on a variety of tags. Once this was embossed, I grabbed two of the inks included in the kit, and created a few different blends over the tags.
