ATC coins using mini stamps

Hello there,

This is Priyadarshini here today, I have ATC coins here today using stamps from Tubby craft. I have used 3 different stamps to make these. They are easy and quick to make and absolute fun too. I have a common base here which is black cardstock and die cut small circle from white cardstock. I created different background for each using stencils and inks from Tubby craft.

What are Artist trading coins? They are miniature art created on 2.5"circle of heavy base cardstock.

ATC with stenciled background

  1. First, I stenciled the white cardstock using stencils and dye inks. Then added this to a black circle die cut.
  2. Inks used are: TurquoiseOlive greenLavender violet
  3. I offset the stencil to get a a complete stenciled background.
  4. I stamped the images from Lovely Owl and Butterfly Love and coloured them with colour pencils.
  5. To embellish, I added corrugated sheet, cotton gauze and twine.
  6. To finish the coins, I added the image and a sentiment.

ATC with inked background

  1. For this ATC, instead of stenciling, I made an ink blended background using Turquoise, Olive green, lavender violet and added this to a black circle cardstock.
  2. I added a corrugated paper, lace and some twine to embellish the base.
  3. Stamped Unicorn dreams image and coloured it.
  4. I added the fuzzy cut image to the base. To finish the coin, I added a couple of gemstones. I skipped adding the sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the project.
Stay happy and keep crafting.

Stenciling with Glitter Paste by Deepti

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share two super glittery cards using Tubby Craft's beautiful stencils..

Over to my card..

To make this card, I ink blended white card stock using tubby craft inks. Then, I stenciled it using sliver glitter paste.

Once it dried, I stamped the butterfly on vellum and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Fussy cut it and adhered the same on stenciled background along with die cut sentiments.

Here is the close up... Isn't this texture is looking beautiful? ;)

Here is my second card..

For this card, I used colored glitter paste for stenciling. Once it dried, I adhered the same on colored note card.

Added die cut vellum heart along with die cut sentiments to complete it.

I hope you get inspired.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!

Two amazing anniversary cards by Anushree

Hi Everyone !!

Hope you all are doing good and crafting too.

I have two cards for today. I have highlighted  different techniques for each card.

Onto my first card,

I have tried showcasing repeated stamping in a border style . I have used Plumeria Florals stamp set and Jet Black dye ink from Tubby craft to stamp the border first.

Next I chose Imperial Red and Lead gray dye inks from Tubby Craft to color my florals.

Sentiment is a die cut on Gold card stock and the card is embellished in gold peals.

For border,I have adhered Gold border die cut to enhance the card on a black cardstock.

Now onto my second card,

I am using Checkered Stencil for the background .I have used rainbow colors from Tubby Craft Dye ink collection to put them on paper using blending brushes.

I masked the center with a circle die cut before applying inks to the card base. Once stenciled background is ready,I removed the mask and stamped sentiment from Lucky Quote stamp in Black Dye ink.

I embellished my card with some rainbow cup sequins.

Hope you liked both the cards.

Below are the products I have used for my cards

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Guys,

Welcome back to Tubby Craft Blog. I have 2 beautiful yet simple cards to share with you all today.

Card 1:

Steps to create this card:
  • Cut a card base from thick cardstock. I have cut a square card base of size 3.5”*3.5” and then rounded the corners.
  • Then on a separate piece of paper, I created a background by ink blending Tubby craft inks: Turquoise, Lavender Velvet and Sapphire Blue.
  • Using a circle die that cuts out a leaves patter I die cut the ink blended piece.
  • I then stamped the sentiment ‘You are Adorable’ from Tubby craft stamp set ‘Camelia layered flower’ on a white strip of paper.
  • Then I assemble everything together as you can see in the card and our card is completed.

Card 2:

Steps to make this card:
  •  I make a card base of size 3.5”*2.5”.
  • On a separate piece of paper, I create a background by ink blending on it using Tubby Craft inks: Imperial Red, Tangy Orange and Lemon Yellow.
  • I use a double stitched rectangle die to cut the ink blended piece.
  • From the Tubby craft stamp set ‘Camelia layered flower’ I stamp the foliage images using Black ink pad.
  • I stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set and assemble the card as shown in the image.

I hope you guys liked these simple cards.

Hello my dearies I hope you all are doing well :)
This is Crafter Anu & today I am here to share 2 beautiful spring cards.
For me spring season is about blooming flowers & colorful butterflies.
So yes I tried to work with these only & here's how my project turned out to be..

I have used the BRIGHT DAY stamp set.

To create this card follow the instructions:
STEP 1: Stamp the following images from the stamp set using JET BLACK INK
from tubby craft. P.S. because I used watercolors to color these here I have used a
permanent ink to stamp the images.

STEP 2: Color all the images using any medium you prefer & then fussy cut them all.

STEP 3: Take a half inch strip of black cardstock & stamp the sentiment on it using
versamark ink & then heat emboss it using gold embossing powder.

STEP 4: For the background take a piece of white watercolor paper & using the
LEAD GREY INK from tubby craft paint the lines as shown.

Also splatter some ink on top and let it dry.

STEP 5: Now that all the elements are ready assemble the card.
first adhere the main big flower using some foam tape then arrange the leaves around it.
Then add the small bunch of flowers on the side. After this adhere the sentiment on top.
Finally adhere the card to a grey note card.

I have used the BUTTERFLY LOVE stamp set.

To create this card follow the instructions:
STEP 1: As you can see the butterfly in my card is 3x bigger than the stamp.
How did I do that ? It's simple ! I resized the image digitally.
To understand it well see this video tutorial.

STEP 2: Once the resizing is done print out the image. Here I have kept it 3.5 inches wide.
And then I trimmed down the paper to 4 x 5.25 inches.

STEP 3: Now grab your favorite coloring mediums & get coloring the big butterfly.
here I have used my polychromos to color.

STEP 4: After that I took out some green watercolor & brushed it around the edges.
Also I added some color dripping & splatters as shown.

STEP 5: Stamp the sentiment using JET BLACK INK from tubby craft.

STEP 6: Now carefully cut on the outlines of the wings using a sharp blade cutter.
& curve them up from top as shown. Finally Adhere it to a note card.

So this is all from me today.
I hope you enjoyed these projects & the tutorial.
Do like, comment & share :)
Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Tag and Card using Tubby Craft Butter Cup stamp Set

Hello everyone , hope you all are keeping yourself safe during this tough time of Corona Pandemic. All we do right now is to evolve the ways to stay safe and work together simultaneously. We  should be extra careful and smart to deal with this virus, as we do not know for how long it is going to stay.

Now coming to this blog post ... I will be sharing with you a tag and a card   using Butter cup stamp set by Tubby Craft. For the tag I will be using Emboss resist technique.Emboss resist is such a versatile technique, it’s one of those that has been around for a while, but with all the new inks and embossing powders coming onto the market, it continues to evolve. This feature shows some fun ways to use Tubby Craft Ink with this emboss-resist technique.

Below we share a complete step by step in how to emboss resist for beginners showing how to achieve the perfect embossed resist with Tubby Craft Ink.

This technique can be achieved with a variety of different inks and embossing powders, but the main advantage of using Tubby Craft Ink , or even Distress Ink too, is that you can lift the colour from the card by adding water, this gives you countless more options for creating unique backgrounds.

In the advanced illustrated step-by-step guide I show how you can protect part of your background by using your clear heat embossing to protect the white card stock. In the intermediate-level tutorial I heat embossed first, then used the embossing to protect the card stock from the ink blending and from when I stamped over the top
  • Use an anti-static powder tool to prep your card stock, this just eliminates the embossing powder from sticking to any latent fingerprints on your card, and will give you a lovely crisp result to your embossing.
  • Ink the outline stamp from Buttercup Stamp with black ink to create an overall pattern on the panel. I have applied a washi tape for masking along the Tag.

  • Add clear embossing powder to the solid stamp images now and heat until it melts and takes on a shiny finish.
  •  Apply your first Tubby Craft Ink colour over the embossing using a blending tool and blend it slightly further up the Tag than you want the first colour to be, this will help you get a nice blend as you overlap two colours to make an in-between shade. Repeat for all of your chosen colours.

  • Now spritz some water to add some Interest to the background.

  • Gently rub kitchen roll over the surface to remove any excess ink – this will help the stamping pop even more giving you a nice white crisp image.

Here is the final look of the Tag.

I also made this simple card as well . For this I just gave a water color wash in the background on water color paper. Later I stamped floral images from butter cup stamp set with various shades of Tubby Craft inks and mounted on a Die cut circular ring, Isn't this card perfect for the Mother's Day around the corner.
