Cute cards in Pink | DT Anushree

Hi Friends, Anushree here I am back on the blog with some beautiful card inspirations. I can never have enough birthday cards, so I have once again tried a birthday card. Along with that is a lovely love themed card for upcoming season of love. For my first card, a birthday one, I have used Crafty Friends stamp set in the background inked in Tubby Craft Jet Black ink. Next I stamped this cute girl from best Buddies stamp set and coloured it. I added a happy Birthday die cut and placed the girl according to the sentiment. I added a pattern paper thin strip to add interest to the white card stock. I adhered this whole white panel to blue base card stock and its complete. Now onto my next card which is love card This card is real fun. I have tried some mixed media in the background. To start with I took a white card base and foiled hearts in gold. Next I cut tag shaped red and pink card stock and used Zig Zag Stencil, Gradient Cubes stencil with white mixed media paste. I stamped this cut

'Plumeria' floral Valentine cards

Hello there, This is DT Priyadarshini here today and I am happy to be back on  Tubby Craft  blog and this time I am using  Plumeria florals  stamp set. I wanted to use it for a while and finally I was able to do it and now this has become my all time favourite floral stamp set. I love the floral here and the opportunity I get to practice colouring is brilliant. I made 3 cards for today and I had to make the tough decision to stop making cards with this stamp.   Card 1 This is my first card using Plumeria and I did some masking to make this card.  I stamped the image first on one corner of the white cardstock and stamped the same on masking paper. I masked the stamped part and stamped the image again on the other side.  I masked both the florals and inked using  Light pink  ink. I removed the masking paper and coloured the images.  Since Tubby dye inks react to water, I dabbed some jet black ink on an acrylic block and added some splatters.  I added some pearls, liquid pearls to the fl

REPUBLIC DAY SPECIAL... One stencil, Two ways! I DT Anirudh

Jai Hind everyone! Wishing you all a very happy Republic Day... On this glorious 73rd republic day, I would love to show you two patriotic craft projects; The focus is on a stencil with different means of using it creatively. CARD 1 BLEND OVER BLEND For this technique, I simply used the Foliage stencil 1 and used Tangy Orange dye ink at the top and Emerald green at the bottom with our smooth Blending brush (such a lifesaver for intricate stencils like this one!). After that, I blended the same colors again over them for a diffused look and left the center white. Finally, I adhered the die-cut sentiment in blue to complete our national colors. CARD 2 RESIST BLENDING This card features the good-old resist technique and I've used clear heat embossing as the resist with the same stencil, over which I've blended the proud colors and then wiped the resists for the finish. This time, the sentiment says "celebrate"! Here are the cards together... I hope you liked this proje

Beary Special Cards For Valentine's Day

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing two cards featuring the stamp set beary wishes by tubby craft.  This set is so creative and fun!!  Who doesn't want a BEAR HUG for Valentine's Day!?  Card- 1 This stamp set includes solid images if you'd like to stamp with colored inks, or an outline image if you prefer coloring with markers, watercolor, or any other medium you like.   I had fun playing with both options!  There are sentiments for lots of different occasions, too! I started off by stamping the sweet little bear and the on a panel of white. Next I lightly stenciled the heart balloon background with tubby craft inks in the upper half of the panel. I used  grassy edges stencil  to masking the grass using dye ink pad with blending tool then splash water.    Then I colored the image with alcohol markers and fussy cut it out , adding it to the panel with foam tape.  then added Glossy Accents to the nose of the bear, as well as embossed the heart with clear embossing powder
