pairing stencils with stamps - 2 simple cards

Hi everyone This is Priyadarshini here. My post for today is about using stencils for background and coordinating stamps to go along with background.  Card 1 For this card, I used Butterfly stencil and Liliac purple ink. I used ink blending tool and dabbed off the excess ink. I didn't want the entire butterfly and stenciled only half of it.  I used butterfly love stamp (my favourite) and stamped and coloured the image.  I took a piece of vellum sheet, since I wanted the background to be visible and yet add the image and sentiment. I tore the edges and placed it in the middle.  For the sentiment, I used Special day greetings stamp set. To finish the card,I added some gemstones. Then used a dark purple cardstock for the base.  Card 2 To make this card, I took a black cardstock and used Stars and circles stencil for the background. For stenciling, I used white texture paste. Butterfly cards

Hello Welcome back. This is design team member Priyadarshini I have 3 cards using one stamp from Tubby craft. The stamp I selected for the main focus is  Butterfly love . This is a beautiful stamp where there is a butterfly image and a wonderful sentiment. Along with this image I used  Special day greetings  and  Tags pattern  stamp set which has an amazing range of tags that can be stamped and used. I also used 2 stencils in these cards, one is Checkered and the other is Butterfly.  Inks used for these cards are  Jet black ,  Lawn green ,  Emerald green ,  Aqua blue ,  Chinese blue ,  Chocolate brown .  Card 1 To make this card, I stamped the butterfly thrice on kraft cradstock  and coloured with pencils. I made a gate fold card so I stenciled the butterfly stencil on kraft cardstock and trimmed it down to the front size. The stencil has beautiful intricate design so I...

Hello Everyone, Here I'm back with two butterfly cards. You will be surprised to know if I tell you, how I colored these butterflies... definitely nothing great...😉.... So, here is the secret...😀... While ink blending my images or background instead of keeping some rough paper  at the base I use white A4 size card stock and keep shifting it, till it is completely filled with ink. And if you know me, then you must be aware that most of my cards are rainbow colored so do this background which I used  for butterflies.. Now you know the secret.😉.. let me show you my cards... To make this card, I repeatedly stamped the roses using Rose & More stamp set by masking it. Once satisfied, I stamped the butterflies on the card stock which I mentioned above using gold embossing powder and fussy cut it. Adhered the fussy cut butterflies and stamped the sentiment using f ancy sentiments stamp set to complete it. Here is my second card.. For t...
