Hey Crafty People!
The technique I'm using is called emboss resist; you stamp and emboss onto your cardstock, I like to use either white or clear embossing powder, then you can ink blend over the top and the embossing will resist the ink. You can wipe any excess ink off the embossing and you have the stamped pattern perfectly visible.
I used several of the small stamp images within the Birthday stamp set (included in the kit) to create several different repeat stamping patterns on a variety of tags.
Once this was embossed, I grabbed two of the inks included in the kit, and created a few different blends over the tags.
The inks included, that I used here, are Light Pink & Aqua Blue so I used each of these on their own to create ombre tags. I then did a half/half blend of the two, which created a really pretty purple blend in the centre. I liked this colour, so I even used light layers of each, layered up to create a whole purple tag.
I trimmed down the last page of the patterned paper pack, there are lots of little squares of individual images/patterns, and I thought these would look great on my tags.
I punched a hole in the top of each tag, and I added a little handmade tassel on to some of them! (They are really easy to make, and I've included a quick tutorial in my video.)
Personally, I can never find a tag when I need one in a hurry, so I find it so handy to make a bunch all in one go and keep them stored for when I need them.
I hope that you enjoyed the project that I have for you today, and if you are feeling inspired to create something similar then please do share it with us by tagging both myself, @handmadebytasha13 and @tubby_craft
I hope you have a wonderful, happy week!
Stay crafty!!!
Byeee!
