Hi there crafty friends!
hope you all are doing good...
Today, I have an interesting father's day card for you,
Surprising, right?
Let me tell you its construction,
I used Zig-Zag stencil and Lead grey and Chinese Blue dye ink pads to blend over a white card panel.
Then I took a matching blue card base and split 1 1/4" from both the shorter sides until the scoreline.
Then, using the pattern paper we created, cut out two 4 x 1" and one 4 x 2 3/4" pieces and attach them over the blanks.
Then, attach a 1 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece of acetate across, spanning the two split panels keeping the central panel inside.
I added a white base piece to write any message on the inner panel.
Then, using Mustard yellow and Lemon yellow dye ink pads, I created an inked background and then stamped the rose bunch image from Roses and more stamp set using Chinese blue dye ink pad onto it, fussy cut it out, and attached it to the central panel and also the sentiment on a scrap white cardstock which was attached using foam tape.
For the word DAD, I used the Alphabet stencil and blended Lemon yellow dye ink onto the backside of the leftover pattern scrap, fussy cut the letters, and then adhered to the acetate piece.
I also added a few white and yellow adhesive gems for a finishing touch and my card was completed!
