SLIMLINE SHADOW-BOX CARD WITH BIRTHDAY KIT I DT ANIRUDH

 Hi there folks!

I'm back with another exciting crafty video tutorial-

A Slimline shadow-box card using our latest Birthday Theme kit.

CLICK HERE

Let's check out its details;

I started by trimming out 2pcs. of  Iris paper from this kit that measures 8.5" x 5.5" and then scored along both the long sides at 1/2" and 1" on both these cardstocks.

Now, fold the scored line to form a Z-shape.

Using a ruler and a craft knife, you can cut out a rectangular window off of one of the pieces and attach a 3 1/4" x 8 1/4" piece of thick acetate at the backside of the window.

On the base of the other piece, I adhered a pattern paper from the gorgeous Sweet Treats 6x6 paper pack included in this kit. Since the paper is 6" wide, I chose a pattern that could be attached seamlessly.

Now, I glued the two outer tabs of these two Z-shaped sheets to create a shadowbox that collapses to fit flat into an office A9 envelope.

Now comes the fun part, decorating!

I stamped the images from the kit inclusive Birthday Wishes stamp set onto the iris paper using Acrylic block and Jet black dye ink from the kit as well (ain't this kit a complete one? and by the way, it also has additional items like 2 more dye inks, a stencil, and even a blending brush, at such a great price point! just awesome...). I then colored them and fussy cut them out.

Lastly, I adhered them over the acetate window appealingly and finished by adding the sentiment from the stamp set with Soft pink dye ink, which is again, a part of this kit!

I hope you liked my card and I'm sure you'll love this kit too!

Tubby Craft - Penguin Love - Birthday Cards by Deepti

Hello Everyone, I'm stopping by to share two birthday cards using cute Tubby Craft stamp called "Penguin Love" and "Birthday Wishes". I have used Masking technique to make both the cards. Card 1 To make this card, I die cut out the white card stock and stamped the penguins by masking them using Black tubby craft ink. Once satisfied, I stamped the balloons too and colored all these images using alcohol markers. After that I stamped the sentiment on white strip and adhered the same using foam tape along with washi tape. Glued it on Pista green card stock. Finally added some clear sequins to complete it. Here is my second card using same stamp set.. For this card also, I die cut out white card stock . Then I stamped the image and masked it to ink the background. After that I stamped the balloons and the sentiment. Added stamped and fussy cut gift too.  Finally adhered it on matching note card and added some matching s...
