Triple Layered Winter Floral Card

Hello Crafty Folks,

I hope all of you are doing well. The temperatures are already dropping down in my part of the country and getting colder, also the effects of Nivar have been quite temperate.

I hope all of you enjoyed my live session as much as I loved interacting with you all. It was so kind to see such lovely encouraging feedback throughout the month..

After the little interactive critters I am back with my favorite florals - the magnolias.. I can never have enough of the thank you cards,  but these are for the ones who pampered me with the lovely gifts and presents during Diwali.. 😊

I decided to create the Winter Floral color scheme.

So let's have a look at the card first.

Creating Your Winter Floral Card

To make this card, I stamped the floral images and several leaves from the stamp set Tubby Craft Wishes with Magnolia with the antique linen distress ink. I then used my Daniel Smith watercolors to color these images and fussy cut them.

After the major part was done. It was time for layering.

I have layered my card on white cardstock scored at 5.5 inches.

Then I used the 300 GSM gray cardstock which measures 3.25 x 4.25 inches cut using the second die of MFT stitched rectangle dies. I used the script stamp to stamp on the gray cardstock using the versamark clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I then die cut a piece of white cardstock from the  third die of the Hero arts rounded rectangle infinity dies to form the third layer of the card.

I then very carefully pasted the leaves using the liquid glue and the flowers using the 3D foam tape.

Finishing my Card

I then stamped the Thank You Sentiments using the jet black dye ink.

I added a black twine to embellish the card.

And our card is ready.. Do let us know in the comments below if you like card.. 😊

Till then stay safe and stay crafty.

Tubby Craft - Penguin Love - Birthday Cards by Deepti

Hello Everyone, I'm stopping by to share two birthday cards using cute Tubby Craft stamp called "Penguin Love" and "Birthday Wishes". I have used Masking technique to make both the cards. Card 1 To make this card, I die cut out the white card stock and stamped the penguins by masking them using Black tubby craft ink. Once satisfied, I stamped the balloons too and colored all these images using alcohol markers. After that I stamped the sentiment on white strip and adhered the same using foam tape along with washi tape. Glued it on Pista green card stock. Finally added some clear sequins to complete it. Here is my second card using same stamp set.. For this card also, I die cut out white card stock . Then I stamped the image and masked it to ink the background. After that I stamped the balloons and the sentiment. Added stamped and fussy cut gift too.  Finally adhered it on matching note card and added some matching s...
