ONE STAMP, TWO WAYS! I KRISHNA STAMP

 Hi,

I, Anirudh, welcome all you amazing people to The Tubby Craft Blog.

Today, I have very special projects for the upcoming festive seasons- ENVELOPES  and also a COORDINATING CARD,

and all of them using the very versatile Krishna stamp!

Surprised? don't be, coz these projects are fascinating as well.

The products used will be listed at the end of this post.

So let's hop onto them...

THE CARD

For this card, I started by stamping the Krishna image onto some watercolor paper using Aqua Blue dye ink.

Then I did some no-line coloring using Zig pens and let it dry for a couple of minutes. Once it dried, I blinged it up using a gold pen for the ornaments and fussy cut it.

For the background, I used a pattern paper and stuck the image over it.

I white heat embossed the praise onto black paper and placed it adjacent to the image after trimming.

Lastly, I stuck this onto a black card base and finished the card.

Here's a closer look at the card.

THE ENVELOPES

Moving towards the envelopes, I have quite a few examples for you and also a video tutorial for them.

First, have a look at them,

Interesting, right?

SHAKER ENVELOPE

Gifting a loved one in this envelope would be so much fun!

Start by using a clear envelope, available easily at office or party supply stores, and measuring the dimensions.

Now, take a paper of the dimensions twice the width(2x) and the same length(y).

Now, from the 2x side, score or simply fold the paper in half so that you end up getting the same dimensions as of the envelope itself.

Now, stick the two open short sides to create a pocket and check the fit, which may need little alterations.

On top of the pocket, heat emboss the image as well as the sentiment so it shows through the clear envelope, place the pocket and add loads of sequins, glitter and micro glass beads and put in the gift before sealing it close.

ELEGANT ENVELOPES

This is a project you could easily mass produce.

For this, I took a regular envelope and put a paper doily over it and trim the excess.

Now, I heat emboss the Krishna image with a matching powder and fussy cut it.

Then, I adhered it over the doily and finished it with a sentiment.

Very quick and easy.

Here's another example where I used different colors and it looks perfect for the festivities!

I hope these projects inspire you to make your very own festive cards and gift envelopes.

See you soon and

Keep crafting!

Hello Everyone, I'm stopping by to share two birthday cards using cute Tubby Craft stamp called "Penguin Love" and "Birthday Wishes". I have used Masking technique to make both the cards. Once satisfied, I stamped the balloons too and colored all these images using alcohol markers. Hi Everyone !! Hope you all are doing good and crafting too. I have two cards for today. I have highlighted  different techniques for each card. Onto my first card, I have tried showcasing repeated stamping in a border style . I have used Plumeria Florals stamp set and Jet Black dye ink from Tubby craft to stamp the border first. Next I chose Imperial Red and Lead gray dye inks from Tubby Craft to color my florals. Sentiment is a die cut on Gold card stock and the card is embellished in gold peals. Now onto my second card, I am using Checkered Stencil for the background .I have used rainbow colors from Tubby Craft Dye ink collection to put them on paper using blending brushes. I masked the center with a circle die cut before applying inks to the card base. Once stenciled background is ready,I removed the mask and stamped sentiment from...
