Two birthday cards with different mediums by Anushree

Hi Friends,

I am glad to come back on blog today with two birthday cards, both are done with different mediums and techniques. So just sit back, relax and read the whole post to explore some new elements in card making.

Card 1

I have used alcohol inks for this card. Its a lovely medium to explore. I am still exploring and trust me it gives beautiful and awesome results each time. Here is my card

Procedure

1. I have made a rainbow pattern on Yupo paper, size is 4*6 inches. Alcohol inks needs Blending solution to spread. I have used a round medium thickness brush to spread the inks.

2. Then on vellum paper, Wishes with magnolia stamp set from Tubby Craft is stamped with watermark ink and heat embossed with white powder. After that fussy cut the pattern as shown.

3.I have used a Happy die cut and Birthday sentiment is stamped on white cardstock with Tubby Craft Jet Black ink using Make a wish stamp set.

4. Adhere everything as shown with clear glue. Lastly add some silver blings to add interest to the card.

5. Everything together is attached on a white card base with clear glue.

Card 2

Procedure

1. Take a Kraft cardstock and stamp the sentiment and balloons from Tubby Craft Birthday Wishes stamp set as shown with black ink.

2. Fill the colors in the balloons using pencil colors. I have used Faber Castell Polychromos for this card. The string and bow to the balloons is hand drawn with black micro pens.

3. Die cut the sentiment part only and lift it up using three more same die cut below it. This is done to give it volume.

4. I have cut a thin strip from a pattern paper and adhered it as shown. I have added some enamel dots also to add interest to the card.

Tubby Craft - Penguin Love - Birthday Cards by Deepti

Hello Everyone, I'm stopping by to share two birthday cards using cute Tubby Craft stamp called "Penguin Love" and "Birthday Wishes". I have used Masking technique to make both the cards. Card 1 To make this card, I die cut out the white card stock and stamped the penguins by masking them using Black tubby craft ink. Once satisfied, I stamped the balloons too and colored all these images using alcohol markers. After that I stamped the sentiment on white strip and adhered the same using foam tape along with washi tape. Glued it on Pista green card stock. Finally added some clear sequins to complete it. Here is my second card using same stamp set.. For this card also, I die cut out white card stock . Then I stamped the image and masked it to ink the background. After that I stamped the balloons and the sentiment. Added stamped and fussy cut gift too.  Finally adhered it on matching note card and added some matching s...
