Two inspiring cards by Anu

Heya all. Missed the crafty inspiration lately ??
Here I am back on Tubby Craft Blog to share some easy peasy crafts
to fuel you in. So grab a cup'a coffee and try your hands on one of these.

PROJECT 1: A NEW CHAPTER OF LIFE

Let's get started with this one!

STEP 1: STAMPING & COLORING
For stamping here I am using the new released stamp set "wishes with magnolia"

I took two rectangle piece of white cardstock & fold them in half.
On the right half of first I stamped this bud.

Here I stamped it half & half because it will be attached as a booklet.
first image(on left) is the back side of the piece on which the bud is stamped.
and the second image(on right) is the second piece of cardstock on which
half flower is stamped.

This flower is stamped on the back side of second piece of cardstock.

and color it as you like.

STEP 2: MAKING BASE
For the base I took a white cardstock & draw lines using fine tip marker.

and then splatter some blue color on the base.
STEP 3: FINISHING UP
I stamped a sentiment on the bottom of the base.
And also stick the pieces together to make it a booklet.

Now stick the booklet on the base and then the base on to a note card.
And its DONE !!!

PROJECT 2: IT'S TUBBY'S BIRTHDAY !

Now this I created for the inspiration for the ongoing challenge
STEPS TO CREATE THE SAME :-
 1. It starts with making a base for explosion box. Take a 12x12 inch cardstock,
Score it on either side at 4,8 inches. Fold the score lines to get a base divided in
9 equal parts of 4x4 inches each. Cut off the 4 parts making it a plus + sign.
Re-attach the two flaps to make it keep standing.
2. Matt the flaps. Here I used TUBBY CRAFT dye inks to create my own matting paper.
For the top I made the wood pattern using TUBBY CRAFT "lead grey" & "jet black"
dye inks & for the inside I  used "sapphire blue" & "aqua blue" for clouds,
"lawn green" for the other flaps.

3. Stamping Images - here I have used 3 different stamp sets from TUBBY CRAFT.
Elephant, banner, cake, sentiment (let's celebrate) - Adorable Runner stamp set.
Number 1, sentiment  (one is fun) - One Fun stamp set.
Balloons, sentiment (happy birthday to you) - Birthday Wishes stamp set.
and as always I used watercolors to color the stamped images.

4. First do the banner, for that I used a hemp cord (jute thread-thin) & stick
both the ends of the cord to the sides of the box. Then after that I added the tiny banner
stamped images to it & the sentiment. After that its time to place the main images that is
our TUBBY and his birthday number which is 1. I stick both the images using L shapes.
The sentiment is also stick down using same method.

and then I cut out two circles with scallop border and on one of those I
stamped the sentiment & on the other I added the stamped cake image.

And this is it !
That's the Birthday Card for TUBBY 🙂

Hello Everyone, I'm stopping by to share two birthday cards using cute Tubby Craft stamp called "Penguin Love" and "Birthday Wishes". I have used Masking technique to make both the cards. Card 1 To make this card, I die cut out the white card stock and stamped the penguins by masking them using Black tubby craft ink. Once satisfied, I stamped the balloons too and colored all these images using alcohol markers.
